Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about how to use Clipvo effectively, how we handle your data, and how to get the best results from the studio. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, visit the Contact page.
1) What is Clipvo?
Clipvo is an AI image generator and in‑browser photo studio. You can create photoreal images from prompts, remove or replace backgrounds, retouch, add text and shapes, and export for social platforms. The editor runs locally in your browser where possible, so it’s fast and privacy‑friendly.
2) How do I generate an image?
Open the Studio, type a descriptive prompt, and choose size or style if needed. For best results, be specific: subject, scene, lighting, camera angle, mood, and quality terms (for example: “wide shot, natural light, 35mm, editorial style”). See our prompting guide.
3) How does background removal work?
Background removal uses an on‑device segmentation model when supported, with optional server‑proxied models for heavier tasks. You can refine the mask with brush tools, feather the edges, and export PNG or WEBP. See the background removal tutorial.
4) Do I need to upload my photos to a server?
Most editing happens locally in your browser. Some features may call third‑party services (for example, model fetching or analytics) and we only send what’s necessary to fulfill the request. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
5) Can I use generated images commercially?
In general, yes, subject to applicable law and the policies of any underlying model provider. You’re responsible for ensuring your use doesn’t violate trademarks, publicity rights, or other IP. Read more in the Terms of Service and our article on image rights.
6) How do cookies and ads work on Clipvo?
We use a minimal set of cookies to remember preferences and improve the experience. We may also integrate Google AdSense to keep the core tools free. Ads never replace your content and we avoid showing ads on empty screens. You can manage cookie preferences via the banner and learn more in the Privacy Policy.
7) Is Clipvo mobile‑friendly?
Yes. The layout adapts to smaller screens, and we provide responsive controls for touch and stylus. For heavy editing (large canvases or batch operations), a desktop with WebGPU support will feel faster. See WebGPU performance tips.
8) Where can I learn techniques and workflows?
Visit the Resources section for tutorials and best practices, including prompting, background removal, export formats, and ad‑ready design tips. We update this area regularly based on user feedback.
9) Do you have refunds or paid plans?
Clipvo’s core editor is free to use. If paid options are introduced later (for premium templates or extra storage), details will be added to the Terms and clearly shown at checkout. We’ll provide transparent pricing and cancellation guidelines.
10) How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Please contact us with steps to reproduce, screenshots if possible, and your device/OS/browser. We prioritize issues that affect many users or block exports.
